2009 Positional Rankings

As usual, the rankings below are based on a player's body of work while in college, the postseason all-star games, and the Combine. While many people put a lot of weight on a players' performance in Indianapolis, I simply use it as a means of differentiating between two players I may have ranked very closely together. If I've got a similar grade on two wide receivers, but player A runs a 4.40 40 yard dash, and player B a 4.5, I'm going to give the nod to player A.

Make sure to tune into 1560 The Game in Houston, or go to 1560thegame.com, on Saturdays between 2-4 PM for a more in-depth look at the rankings. Each installment will cover one of the positions listed below and will run from March 28th to April 11th. On April 18th, make sure to listen as I go through my mock draft.
